DPAM Luxembourg Branch: Strategic reinforcement and new momentum in equity asset management
Back to news
As part of the transformation of Indosuez's Investment Management division, DPAM Succursale Luxembourg is taking a key step forward in its development. Following the appointment of Eric Grandjean as Branch Manager, the Quantamental Equity team, which specialises in equity asset management, is officially joining DPAM Succursale Luxembourg. Coming from Indosuez Fund Solutions, this team will be headed by Nicolas Gazin, CIO Quantamental Equity, from 1 January 2026, marking a major strategic step forward in strengthening asset management expertise.
This development is fully in line with Indosuez's strategy: to centralise and offer global, innovative, diversified and responsible investment solutions to all our clients.
The ‘Quantamental*’ approach: innovation and complementarity
The transfer of this team and its ‘Quantamental Equity’ management approach to DPAM Succursale Luxembourg aims to bring together within DPAM all of the Indosuez Group's equity management expertise eligible for cross-border distribution.
This offering complements the fundamental and quantitative expertise already managed at DPAM, enabling us to offer a very broad and differentiated range of solutions for our internal and external clients.
This innovative management approach, known as ‘Quantamental’, combines the rigour of quantitative analysis (figures, scoring, systematic filters) with the depth of fundamental analysis (in-depth study of companies, validation of long-term convictions). The aim of this approach is to broaden the scope of analysis and enhance the objectivity, discipline and robustness of investment decisions, while maintaining a high degree of agility in response to market trends.
Expansion of scope and synergies
Since 1 January 2026, DPAM Succursale Luxembourg has officially expanded its scope of activity to include portfolio management for institutional clients and collective management of UCITS, complementing DPAM's UCITS marketing activities, which have been in place for several years and are headed by Olivier Terras, Head of Institutional Sales at DPAM Succursale Luxembourg.
This development, which has been approved by the regulatory authorities, is accompanied by a rationalisation of governance and improved operational efficiency, in line with the Magritte project and Indosuez's strategic objectives.
A key step in DPAM's strategy
The integration of this ‘Quantamental Equity’ team and its approach marks a key step not only in DPAM's strategy, illustrating the Indosuez Group's asset manager's desire to complement and strengthen its equity expertise, but also for DPAM Succursale Luxembourg, which is now positioning itself as a new centre of excellence in equity asset management, a rare positioning in the Luxembourg financial market.
