Indosuez Wealth Management celebrates 25 years of expertise in private markets
Back to news
Indosuez Wealth Management, the wealth management subsidiary of the Crédit Agricole group, is celebrating 25 years of Tiera Capital, its platform for private markets.
With years of experience, Indosuez Wealth Management is now established as a key player in private markets through its Tiera Capital platform. Since its launch in 2001, the platform has expanded significantly and now manages nearly EUR 13 billion of assets. Backed by an international team of 70 experts, present in nine territories across Europe and Asia, the platform serves a discerning client base.
Indosuez - a pioneer in private markets
Long convinced of the potential of private markets, Indosuez has been supporting entrepreneurs and private investors with their allocation strategies for over two decades. Since 2001, the bank has enabled its high-net-worth clients to access this asset class according to institutional selection standards, helping to establish private markets firmly at the core of their portfolios.
Tiera Capital’s offering has gradually expanded to cover the entire private market universe: private equity, private debt, infrastructure, co-investments, and secondary transactions. At the same time, its ecosystem has developed significantly, with more than 120 partner management companies in Europe, the United States, and Asia-Pacific.
Over 25 years, Tiera Capital has supported more than 4,000 private companies across over 600 funds, completed 110 direct investments, and participated in 120 secondary transactions.
A tailored approach for clients
Indosuez’s private markets expertise is built on two core strengths: a tailored approach combining local proximity and global vision, and the backing of the Crédit Agricole group, the ninth largest bank worldwide. Together these strengths allow us to meet the expectations of high-net-worth clients, family offices, and professional investors.
The sustained growth of assets under management, averaging 15% per year over the past two decades, demonstrates clients’ lasting confidence. This loyalty is due to our transparency, the rigour of the investment processes, our proven track record, and the enhanced digitalisation of tools and client journeys.
Heading for the future: innovating and broadening access to private markets
Building on this expertise, Indosuez is pursuing its ambition to develop and broaden access to private markets for all its clients, while maintaining the standards of excellence that underpin its reputation. The bank has set a target of EUR 18 billion in assets under management in private markets by 2028.
‘This anniversary is not merely an opportunity to look back. Our ambition is clear: to make Tiera Capital the global reference platform for all client segments, from private clients to the largest professional investors’ highlights Nicolas Renauld, Global Head of Private Markets – Indosuez Wealth Management.
